Be Encouraged.

1 Corinthians 12:26 says “If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it: if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it.” This verse tells us that we are dependent on each other.
But the unusual thing about this virus crisis is that it is so isolating. In past crises, like 9-11 and Hurricane Sandy, people pulled together with their friends, family and neighbors. Now we are told to avoid physical contact with others. There is even a term for it- “social distancing”. Don’t get too close!
Fortunately, we can reach out safely now via technology to the people we love without physical contact. We can make a call, write an email, send a text. Many of us have been doing that. I commend you for not pulling into your shell like a tortoise.
God’s goal is that we stay in touch with each other. Reach out and touch someone today. Show and share the abundant love of Christ.
Praying for you,
Pastor Ken
