Men’s Ministry

The goal of the Men’s Ministry is to help each man become more like Christ. Our premise is that when men emulate God, they have a strong base for establishing self worth and leadership in their home and in the world. Love, obedience, honesty, forgiveness, mercy, giving, fellowship and servant hood are the Christ like characteristics we seek to build in men. 

For a man to become Christ like, he must read the word and maintain an active prayer life. Given men are at different levels in their Godly relationships, we accomplish unity by challenging men to have a willingness to grow, an eagerness to submit to Christ’s leadership and a zeal for humble service to our Church and one another.  

Through the guiding of the Holy Spirit we seek to create opportunities for the men that will help them display Godly Characteristics. 

• Monthly Breakfasts - fellowship, giving
• Weekly Devotionals written by the men – honesty, forgiveness, obedience
• Top Chef Cook-Off – fellowship, servant-hood
• Revival Week – obedience, forgiveness, mercy
• Benevolent Fundraising – giving, love, servant hood
• Men’s Retreat – fellowship, honesty, forgiveness, love
• Accountability Groups – fellowship, honesty
• Church Picnic Organizers – servant hood

Our prayer is that the cumulative effect of our efforts motivate the men to have a renewed interest in Christ like behavior and a spirit of unity that we might be made perfect in Jesus Christ.
