Latino Ministry

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. --Matthew 28:19.

The Hispanic population is growing more rapidly than any other group in the United States; it currently makes up approximately 12% of the United States population, and that percentage continues to increase.

In Monmouth County the Hispanic Population is about 40,000 people.

In our surrounding areas (Marlboro, Matawan, Manalapan, etc.) there are over 10,000 Hispanics

(Few churches within the county provide any Spanish speaking services, or outreach)

We are in the midst of a great mission field and the hope of the ministry is to reach out and open our doors to as many souls as possible.

Our Mission: The mission of the Hispanic Ministry is to glorify God by bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Spanish speaking community of Marlboro and its surrounding areas.

Our Vision:  The vision of the ministry is to strengthen the Hispanic community with sound Biblical teachings and programs that will assist the Hispanic community in fostering Christian disciplines, character and intellectual development so that they can go and serve God through service to the community.

Services Offered:

  • Weekly Bible Studies on Sundays at 10:00 am during the Christian Education hour.
  • Spanish Service - 11:00 AM - in the Chapel
  • ESL (English as a Second Language) classes every Tuesday night starting at 7:00 pm.
  • The MWC’s Food Pantry Ministry provides food for anyone in need every Sunday after the 11:00 am service.
  • Transportation to the Bible Studies and Service can be provided upon request.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”(Isaiah 61:1)
