The Krogh Family

 

After we became saved, we prayed that God would guide us to a new place of worship where we would be part of a family of Christians who openly showed their love for God.  We believed that we needed to find a Bible believing church where a personal relationship with Jesus was encouraged and where families were made to feel welcome and would be nurtured in their faith.  

God answered this prayer by directing Sharyn to Lemstone Bookstore at the mall.  There she met Susan.  After helping Sharyn pick out a gift, they began talking about their families and life in general.  Sharyn asked her if she attended a church in the area and she said she did, Monmouth Worship Center.  She said the church was very family oriented and had some wonderful programs for children.

We attended service at Monmouth Worship Center for the first time on May 4, 2003.  We walked in and Julie came right up to us and welcomed us.  She greeted us as if she had known us for years.  We felt as if Jesus himself opened his arms and welcomed us personally.  We felt like we were “home”.  The service was vibrant and alive and you could feel the love for God pouring out from the people worshipping.

Attending Monmouth Worship Center has been a blessing for our family.  Prayer and Bible reading have become a welcome part of our daily lives. Our daughters have really blossomed in the children’s ministry.  They have become more outgoing and love attending children’s church and Sunday school. At Monmouth Worship Center you are not just one in a crowd, you will become part of a growing family where people know your name. At Monmouth Worship Center you will find a group of people who actually care about you and your family and who truly love the Lord. It is a wonderful place to bring your children.  We thank God for leading us to this church.
